Athina’s Moon is a contemporary and alternative R&B artist born in Montreal, Canada. The vocalist and songwriter, who shares Ethiopian and Haitian roots, also produces some of her tracks. Athina being her legal first name, her artist name represents her commitment to being more open to the world about her true nature. Passionate about astrology, she believes that by shedding our sun (ego) and bringing forward our moon (core) we stand a better chance at forming genuine connections.


Through her smooth vocals and deep yet relatable lyrics, Athina’s Moon transports us to a further planet within ourselves. In her first single ‘Not At My Cost’ she shares a message of inner peace as we find the strength to let go. The following single ‘Moonwashed’ speaks on letting in the energy of the full moon as it gently illuminates our blockages and guides us to release all that no longer serves our higher purpose. Her first music video for the latter offers a promising look into Athina's Moon lush and golden universe.

Athina’s Moon aims to inspire empowerment, healing, resilience and self-compassion through each of her releases. Especially in those who like her, as a Black and Queer Woman, have been cast to society’s margins. Her debut EP, MOON WATER, launched on 11.11.22 and features three new tracks grounded in an enigmatic and sensual flow including the electronically influenced ‘I Am Water’.
